The upcoming Amazon Prime Video series “Delphi,” a spin-off from the acclaimed “Creed” film franchise, has officially unveiled its principal cast. This highly anticipated show, initially announced in May 2025, delves into the lives of ambitious young boxers within an elite academy, chronicling their journey as they fight to achieve their aspirations and ascend to the sport's highest echelons. The series promises to deliver compelling drama and intense athletic competition, building upon the rich legacy of the “Creed” universe.

“Delphi” Series Unveils Diverse Ensemble Cast and Production Details

The “Delphi” series, a new expansion of the beloved “Creed” franchise, has recently revealed its main cast and key production team. Among the series regulars are Benji Santiago, known for his work in Broadway's “The Notebook,” Juan Castrano, who appeared in “Rob Peace” and “Red, White & Royal Blue,” Academy Award nominee Demián Bichir from “In a Better Life” and “The Hateful Eight,” and André Holland, recognized for his roles in “The Actor” and “Love, Brooklyn.” Also joining the core cast are Andre Royo of “The Wire” and “Empire,” Sofia Black-D’Elia from “Single Drunk Female” and “Your Honor,” and Victoria Vourkoutiotis, a Broadway talent from “John Proctor Is the Villain.” A fan-favorite from the “Creed” films, Wood Harris, will return in a recurring capacity as Little Duke, the trainer at the Delphi Gym, bringing continuity and familiarity to the new narrative.

The expanded ensemble features Niles Fitch as Dante, Dasan Frazier as Remy, Graham Patrick Martin as Jackson, Brittany Adebumola as Mina, as Didi, Rene Moran as Iggy, Okieriete Onaodowan as Freddie, and Breanna Yde as Ana. Marco Ramirez takes on the crucial roles of showrunner and executive producer. Michael B. Jordan, the star of the “Creed” films, will executive produce under his Outlier Society banner, alongside Elizabeth Raposo. Irwin Winkler, David Winkler, and Charles Winkler of Winkler Films are also on board as executive producers, joined by William Chartoff, Philipp A. Barnett, Jennifer Johnson, and José Padilha, with Padilha also directing the pilot episode. This project is one of several collaborations between Jordan's Outlier Society and Amazon, including the limited series “The Greatest,” which explores the life of boxing legend Muhammad Ali, and an upcoming series adaptation of the book “Fourth Wing,” for which Jordan also serves as an executive producer.

The character descriptions reveal a rich tapestry of personalities. Benji Santiago portrays Santi Torres, a raw talent from East LA living in his older brother's shadow. Juan Castano is Nico Torres, Santi’s naturally gifted older brother, grappling with personal setbacks. Demián Bichir plays Hector Torres, the family patriarch and boxing gym owner, who guides his sons with tough love. André Holland is Teddy 'T-Bone' Parker, an intellectual boxing strategist at the Delphi Academy. Andre Royo embodies Elmer Tatum, an eccentric boxing encyclopedia with an uncanny ability to predict fight outcomes. Sofia Black-D’Elia takes on Bobbi Weiss, an accountant aspiring to be a trainer, possessing deep knowledge of the sport despite never competing. Victoria Vourkoutiotis is Kai Katsaros, a talented yet introverted boxer battling anxiety and stage fright. Wood Harris's Little Duke continues his legacy, training new talent at the Delphi Academy.

The casting of "Delphi" demonstrates a thoughtful approach to character development, ensuring that each role, from the aspiring boxers to their mentors, adds depth and nuance to the series. The return of Wood Harris as Little Duke provides a vital link to the established "Creed" cinematic universe, offering fans a sense of continuity while introducing fresh narratives. This blend of new and familiar faces, coupled with the proven creative talents behind the scenes, suggests that "Delphi" is poised to be a compelling addition to Amazon Prime Video's growing slate of original content, exploring themes of ambition, family, and the relentless pursuit of dreams within the demanding world of boxing. The series stands as a testament to the enduring appeal of the "Creed" narrative, promising a fresh perspective on the challenges and triumphs of young athletes.
