British-Australian production house See-Saw Films has forged a significant multi-year financial alliance with the Parisian investment firm Entourage Ventures. This groundbreaking agreement is poised to infuse up to $50 million in equity over the next three years, specifically earmarked for See-Saw's upcoming slate of feature films. This strategic move aims to grant the studio greater autonomy and leverage in the evolving independent film landscape, allowing for more creative and entrepreneurial endeavors.

Landmark Film Financing Deal Unlocks New Opportunities for See-Saw Films

In a pivotal development announced on May 16, 2026, British-Australian independent production company See-Saw Films, renowned for hits like "Slow Horses" and "The Power of the Dog," officially sealed a multi-year strategic slate production financing agreement with Entourage Ventures, a dynamic investment firm headquartered in Paris. This momentous deal, an exclusive insight revealed today, will channel up to $50 million in equity into See-Saw's diverse roster of feature films over the next three years.

This substantial investment is set to transform See-Saw's operational framework, providing a robust financial foundation that lessens its dependence on the conventional pre-sales model. Such flexibility is critical in today's rapidly shifting global film market, enabling the company to undertake more ambitious projects and explore varied financing structures. Simon Gillis, Joint Managing Director of See-Saw Films, emphasized that this partnership provides the "freedom and firepower to be more ambitious and entrepreneurial" in bringing compelling, filmmaker-driven narratives to audiences worldwide. He further highlighted that this collaboration will not only advance See-Saw's internal productions but also create opportunities to partner with talented external producers and filmmakers on projects aligning with See-Saw's artistic vision.

Julien Delajoux, co-founder and president of Entourage Ventures, expressed profound confidence in See-Saw Films, acknowledging its exceptional track record in producing distinctive, internationally acclaimed cinema. He reiterated Entourage's shared belief in the enduring power of ambitious, singular storytelling for a global audience, viewing this partnership as a strategic expansion into English-language international cinema.

Under the terms of the agreement, See-Saw will maintain its leadership in creative development, packaging, production, and sales across its film slate, working closely with its in-house sales arm, Cross City Films, as well as an extensive network of filmmakers, cast members, distribution partners, and streaming platforms. Forthcoming releases from See-Saw include the highly anticipated "Tenzing" for Apple Original Films and "Heartstopper Forever" for Netflix. This landmark deal was officially signed by Simon Gillis representing See-Saw, Hubert Caillard from Intervista on behalf of Entourage Ventures, and Vincent Lebègue representing Mediawan.

This significant financial injection marks a new era for See-Saw Films, empowering them to continue their legacy of producing high-quality, impactful cinema while navigating the complexities of the modern entertainment industry with enhanced agility and creative freedom. The partnership underscores a mutual commitment to fostering innovative storytelling and expanding its reach across global markets.
