Super Micro Computer, Inc. (SMCI) has emerged as a significant player in the artificial intelligence (AI) sector, with its advanced solutions being adopted by leading industry partners. Recently, Verda, a prominent European AI cloud provider, announced its selection of SMCI's NVIDIA GPU-accelerated, rack-scale systems to bolster its AI cloud infrastructure across Europe. This strategic deployment aims to serve clients in Europe, the United States, and Asia, focusing on high-performance, energy-efficient AI capabilities.

The deployed systems are notably liquid-cooled and based on NVIDIA's Blackwell architecture, designed to support a wide range of sophisticated applications. These include large language models, multimodal AI, robotics, and various enterprise solutions. According to Charles Liang, President and CEO of SMCI, the company's innovative design and engineering, coupled with NVIDIA's cutting-edge Blackwell systems, enable rapid and scalable deployment of AI infrastructure. Ruben Bryon, CEO of Verda, emphasized that this partnership is crucial for delivering AI-native infrastructure on a global scale. Verda’s platform offers self-service AI infrastructure through instances, clusters, and managed inference endpoints, operating entirely on renewable energy. A notable environmental benefit is the utilization of excess data center heat to provide heating for up to 15,000 homes, alongside the integration of GB300 NVL72, HGX B300, HGX B200, and RTX PRO 6000 systems.

SMCI specializes in developing and selling server and storage solutions built on modular, open-standard architectures, serving a global market. The company offers both liquid and air-cooled AI servers, underscoring its versatility and commitment to advanced thermal management. This collaboration with Verda not only highlights SMCI's technological prowess but also its dedication to sustainable practices within the high-demand AI industry.

The collaboration between Super Micro Computer and Verda exemplifies how technological innovation and environmental responsibility can align, creating a positive impact on both industry growth and ecological sustainability. This partnership showcases a forward-thinking approach to AI infrastructure, where efficiency, performance, and green initiatives converge to build a better future.
