Twickenham Film Studios has officially launched Twickenham Investment Services (TIS), an innovative platform designed to bridge the gap between film and television producers and specialized insurance brokers. This new venture, which operates as an FCA-regulated introducer business, was revealed during the prestigious Variety International Movie lunch at the Cannes Film Festival. TIS aims to provide producers with seamless access to expert insurance solutions tailored for the unique demands of the media and entertainment industry, commencing its operations through a key alliance with Miller Insurance Services. This service is universally accessible to all producers, irrespective of their affiliation with the West London studio.

Superna Sethi, the Managing Director of Twickenham Film Studios, highlighted the critical need for such a service, drawing from her extensive experience in the insurance sector. She emphasized that the correct insurance framework is fundamental to the success of independent productions, especially given the current financial pressures and rising budgets faced by feature film producers. TIS was co-founded by Brinder Bharaj, who brings a wealth of experience from both film insurance and executive production, further solidifying the venture's foundation. Bharaj underscored that the collaboration with Miller represents the initial phase of TIS's launch, reflecting a mutual dedication to responsiveness, transparency, and delivering exceptional client experiences. Susana Bramwell, Miller's Head of Media, Film & TV, reiterated this sentiment, noting the increasing market demand for specialized insights, outstanding service, and robust claims support throughout a project's lifecycle, all of which this partnership is built to provide.

Since its soft launch in early December 2025, TIS has been quietly engaging with a select group of industry professionals, and the initial results have surpassed expectations regarding completed deals. Twickenham Film Studios, established in 1913, stands as one of London's oldest and most respected production facilities, bringing nearly a century of cinematic heritage to this partnership. Miller, with over 120 years in the insurance industry, contributes a rich legacy of expertise and reliability. Together, these two esteemed entities are poised to empower film and television producers by simplifying the complex landscape of insurance, fostering greater financial security, and enabling the creation of more compelling cinematic works. This collaboration symbolizes a forward-thinking approach to supporting the creative economy, ensuring that artistic visions can be realized with robust protection and professional guidance.
